Julia Adamson is the Director of Education at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Julia plays a lead role in managing the National Centre for Computing Education a Â£84m government-funded programme to upskill thousands of teachers to deliver a world-class education in computing across primary and secondary schools. Julia started her career as a primary school teacher specialising in science and technology and progressed into school leadership support and teacher CPD for ICT before moving into the charity sector where she has been focused on developing opportunities for young people to benefit from technology.
