Gryphon, Oracle to deliver customer contact preferences with OracleCRM On Demand

Eliminates the need to extract, certify and then re-import leads into Oracle CRM On Demand

By CBR Staff Writer

Gryphon, an Oracle PartnerNetwork member, has revealed the integration of its enhanced PrivacyAdvisor 3.0 application with Oracle CRM On Demand. The new PrivacyAdvisor certifies contact data in real time across all channels, and alerts Oracle users to a customer’s Do Not Contact (DNC) compliance status through a traffic light symbol.

The company said PrivacyAdvisor eliminates the need to extract, certify and then re-import leads into Oracle CRM On Demand. Users can certify leads within the application itself in real-time, and the status is displayed as a corresponding color on the traffic light – red for DNC restriction, yellow for data problems and green for permitted to contact. The system also identifies valid exemptions that override DNC preferences.

Gryphon claims that PrivacyAdvisor for Oracle CRM On Demand, allows users to increase leads and sales productivity, prevent costly DNC violations and avoid future costs by allowing their CRM tool to be used as they were intended.

Scott Hambuchen, president of Gryphon, said: “We’re excited to announce the launch of our integration with Oracle CRM On Demand, and our participation in Oracle’s Inner Circle Initiative. Working together with Oracle, we’ve been able to take all of the complexity that goes into supporting Do Not Contact and global consumer contact preferences and boil it down into a simple traffic light metaphor. I can’t imagine anyone in the B2C environment doing business without it.”

Anthony Lye, senior vice president of CRM at Oracle, said: “This partner solution provides even greater value to our customers. PrivacyAdvisor 3.0 enables Oracle CRM On Demand users to fully adhere to consumer contact preferences and be sure they are compliant with federal regulations across communications channels; which is a strong requirement for many of our customers.”

The new partner system will be introduced at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco in mid October. PrivacyAdvisor is available for purchase as a custom add-on through Gryphon.
