XiloCore unveils new business data recovery product

Aims to deliver secure data to SMBs

By CBR Staff Writer

XiloCore has released the new X700 Business Recovery System – a business continuity and disaster recovery product that reportedly delivers secure data available to small and mid-size businesses.

The new X700 Business Recovery System series reportedly offers a virtualised data recovery and business continuity product in either a 2U rackmount or tower chassis. It is auto synchronised with two of the company’s data centres which are supported by technologies from Asigra and Compellent Technologies.

Some of the additional features of the new offering include: deployment and remote manageability; protection across multiple operating systems; integration with MSP monitoring and PSA platforms; 256 bit data encryption; automatic synchronisation with the company’s Redundant Vaulting System which includes Compellent’s Redundant Disk Arrays. It is said to use file-based data storage and retrieval and offer private storage cloud infrastructure, as well as On Premise.

The new product is currently available in the US and Canada.

Alan McDonald, President & COO of XiloCore With the new X700, solutions providers and MSPs can deliver the industry’s highest degree of secure data available and offer near-time recovery objectives for restoring a client’s infrastructure that range between one to 48 hours. It’s a great customer service promise that is exclusive to XiloCore partners.

XiloCore’s X700 is truly business continuity in a box. But what makes it even more compelling is the margin-rich, recurring revenue model around managed data storage and business recovery services that our partners can wrap around the technology.
