Greenview Data, a provider of email security and filtering technology, has partnered with ZixCorp, a provider of email encryption services, to provide in-the-cloud e-mail encryption services to customers who seek to secure the transmission of sensitive data.
The company said that the new offering automates the e-mail encryption process to ensure the security of e-mail communications, reduce the risk of data breach and allows companies to meet regulatory compliance requirements. These offerings enhances Greenview’s line of anti-spam, e-mail security and e-mail archiving services to provide a SaaS e-mail security.
According to Greenview Data, with support for desktop and gateway customers using encryption standards including, S/MIME, OpenPGP and TLS, ZixCorp’s encryption policies allow customers to establish their own security parameters based on external mandates and internal standards.
