Watford, Hertfordshire-based Scorpion Logic Ltd has announced its Corporate LAN Access Module. The Access Module is an external unit that can act as a remote site router that can also bridge traffic. The unit features a local network interconnect 10Base-T port, standard ISDN interface port and analogue interface enabling connection to a telephone. The Access Module supports personal computer users, Unix workstations and laptops, although ISDN terminal adaptors are only for personal computers. A 128Kbps data rate is possible by aggregating its two ISDN2 64Kbps channels. The Corporate LAN Access Module is expected to ship within the next four weeks; no prices yet.
