The new add-ons specifically target Microsoft Business Scorecard Manager, Reporting Services, and SharePoint Portal Server, allowing users to add value to Microsoft’s KPI-based scorecards, and author reports from within the ProClarity environment.
For example, users can analyze KPIs managed by Business Scorecard more deeply using sophisticated visualization techniques like decomposition tree, performance map, and perspective view, which are useful for performing root-cause analysis on metrics.
Boise, Idaho-based ProClarity’s users can also create Reporting Services reports that are linked to the ProClarity Analytic Server to move from view to ad hoc mode seamlessly. The integration means that users don’t have to go into Visual Studio IDE to build this capability into the system. ProClarity analytic views can now be displayed and manipulated like any other Web Part managed by SharePoint.
Another add-on called ProClarity Publishing Server allows users to craft composite, professional-grade reports in HTML or PDF formats that combine ProClarity analytic views.
ProClarity Analytics 6 is a customizable platform for building thin-client BI interfaces and analytic applications running against Microsoft SQL Server.
