NOVADIGM HAS ENTERPRISE DESKTOP MANAGEMENT TOOLS FOR HP-UX, AIX

By CBR Staff Writer

Novadigm Inc, Mahwah, New Jersey has added tools for managing distributed software using HP-UX and AIX-based servers and client managers for UnixWare and NetWare in the latest release of its Enterprise Desktop Manager software management environment. The company noted that the architecture can be tiered to include a hierarchical structure, so that one management server acts as the master manager, controlling the configuration of subordinate manager nodes, each of which can support more clients. The client systems enable Enterprise Desktop Manager users to deploy and manage updates to distributed software configurations on UnixWare servers and Novell local area networks. Pricing for Enterprise Desktop Manager starts at $20,000 for the management server and $200 per client.
