Under a three-year, $6 million agreement, Verizon Business will act as Standard Register’s single-source provider for communication services, including professional design, implementation and management of private IP, Verizon Business’ MPLS network service; and secure gateway retail and remote office.
This new consolidated IP network will link 3,400 Standard Register employees across the US, Mexico and Canada, and multiple, geographically dispersed sites.
According to Verizon Business, it will implement a managed IP PBX infrastructure that will integrate advanced telephony and presence functions with Standard Register’s wide- and local-area networks so that users can better control communications functions such as consolidating voice mail from multiple devices, and accessing voice mail online.
