INTERLEAF TO BE INSTALLED AT ALL NASA SITES INVOLVED IN SPACE STATION PROGRAMME – NOT TO ENTERTAIN CREWS

By CBR Staff Writer

Seems our great idea that Interleaf’s desk-top publishing software would be used to keep the Space Station crew entertained during the longuers of orbit (CI No 720) was wide of the mark: despite the company saying that We believe this will be one of the most important federal government applications of electronic publishing technology of the decade, the software is simply going to be installed at all NASA sites involved in the Space Station Programme, including NASA Headquarters, Goddard Space Flight Center, Johnson Space Center, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Kennedy Space Center, Langley Research Center, Lewis Research Center and the Marshall Space Flight Center.
