Computer Associates International Inc, Islandia, New York, and Electronic Data Systems Corp have extended their 12-year software licence agreement to include software products from Computer Associates’s recent acquisition, Legent Corp. The agreement will include all of Legent’s client-server products integrated with CA-Unicenter, including AgentWorks, Paradigm and the mainframe products, according to Computer Associates vice-president, Gayle Kemper. Other unspecified Legent products that are being extended for use with Computer Associates technology and covered under the licensing agreement, include distributed systems management, multi-system agent-based management tools, client-server help desk and problem management, distributed storage management, cross system connections, performance and capacity planning, and operations management. The agreement also includes distributed data management and application management.
