WinHEC 99, the PC hardware industry’s conference, will include a focus this year on digital imaging and home networking. Microsoft Corp president, Steve Ballmer will present the keynote along with Windows operating systems division vice presidents, Brian Valentine and David Cole. Ballmer will address Microsoft’s overall strategy for advancing the PC platform, while Valentine will present plans for enterprise computing and Cole consumer and ease-of-use strategies. The conference takes place in Los Angeles between April 7 and 9.
