AES Data (UK) Ltd – on its way to being acquired by CPT Corp, Minneapolis – has formed a new sales and marketing division called Maple Leaf Products in honour of the land of its birth, to address what it reckons is a growing market for second-user equipment: equipment for resale will be acquired through trade-in deals, direct purchase or swapping out of AES’ in-house equipment and the venture is expected to do at least UKP500,000 during the remainder of the year.
