Statistical Package for the Social Science, or SPSS, is a popular statistical package that is capable of performing complex data manipulation and analysis.

The package is designed for both interactive and non-interactive batch uses and can be controlled with simple instructions.

Originally produced by SPSS it was bought by IBM in 2009 and is widely use by market researchers, health researchers, survey companies, government, education researchers, data miners and more.
