What is PPC?

Find out what PPC is.

By James Nunns

Pay-per-click, PPC, is a model of Internet marketing where advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked.

PPC is a way of basically buying visits to a website and one of the most popular forms of it is through search engine advertising.

PPC works because search engines such as Google and Bing allow businesses and individuals to buy listings in their search results. These listing then appear alongside non-paid search results and the search engine is paid every time a user clicks on the sponsored listing.
