What is netiquette?

Netiquette varies across the web.

By Vinod

Netiquette refers to acceptable conduct online.

This can involve a range of different rules, including prohibition of personal abuse and spam.

Netiquette is designed, usually by the administrators or owners of a site, to ensure a good experience is had on the site by users.

Netiquette is not necessarily consistent across different websites and forums. There may be different style guidelines, rules about what is allowed to be shared or what topics can be discussed.
