The software was first launched in October 1983, and runs on major operating systems like Windows and OS X. The original package was called Multi-Tool Word, and was launched to be run on Xenix systems.

Do you remember the friendly and helpful paper clip on Word?

Microsoft Word’s word processing tools are vast and range from different fonts to full on page configuration.

Major features include templates that make it easy for the user to lay out a page, or a set of pages.

Other features include WordArt (a drawing text tool), Macro, page numbering, and auto correct.
