What is EPUB?

A leading electronic publication standard.

By Vinod

EPUB is an e-book format, designed to create and publish electronic books.

EPUB can be downloaded on a variety of devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets and computers.

EPUB is short for electronic publication and was developed by the International Digital Publishing Forum, a trade and standards association dedicated to digital publishing.

It was launched in September 2007, with the latest version being available from June 2014. The new version came with advanced innovations such as the ability to support specialised content such as comic books for instance.
