What is DAP?

Find out what DAP is.

By James Nunns

DAP, which stands for data access page, is a file extension for an html file that is used in Microsoft Access.

The DAP files are html files that are connected to a database and contain hyperlinks that refer to data in a Microsoft Access Database.

These files can be opened by Access 2000 or later, and in Internet Explorer 5 or later.

The data access page is designed to let users view and work with data from the Internet or intranet with the ability to create, modify, or import data access pages. This ability is no longer supported in Microsoft Office Access 2007.
