What is an incubator?

Find out about the company developer.

By Vinod

In business terms, an incubator is an organisation which provides office space, IT equipment as well as managing advice for emerging start-up companies.

Websites and technology product developers use incubators in order to finance and monitor acquired companies.

They essentially provide the infrastructure of an organisation.

The idea of an incubator emerged in the 1950s when Joseph Mancuso opened the Batavia Industrial Centre in a New York based warehouse.
