What is agility?

Agility is all about responding to change.

By Alexander Sword

In business, the term agility refers to the ability of a business to respond rapidly to change.

Agility has become something of a buzzword in the digital era, in which rapid advances in technology are requiring businesses to adapt their processes, business plans to avoid being outclassed by forward-thinking rivals.

Agility is closely linked with the term ‘disruption’.  Companies such as Uber and Airbnb are praised for their use of technology such as smartphones and the internet to create new innovative business models.
