What is a Website?

Find out what a Website is.

By James Nunns

A Website, or Web site, is a collection of related web pages that often includes multimedia content.

Typically this is identified with a common domain name and is published on at least one web server.

Websites can be accessed on the World Wide Web through an address, this may lead the user to a home page or to other pages that are part of the collection of the site.

For example this address could be: https://www.cbronline.com/.
