What is a dashboard?

Dashboards provide quick overviews for high-level management.

By Alexander Sword

In computing, a dashboard is a type of user interface which presents information to the user.

The dashboard can present a unified set of data about a series of disparate topics. This could mean KPIs relevant to a particular goal or business unit.

For example, a cyber security dashboard might include information about the devices on the network, quarantined threats and prevention solutions deployed across the network.
