THINGS STRAIGHT FROM THE ARMONKEY’S MOUTH

By CBR Staff Writer

Subscribers who find some of those pages with the strap IBM announcements a little impenetrable have reason to be grateful they don’t have to grapple with the things straight from the Armonkey’s mouth – although if they happen to be IBM users, of course they do: yesterday, for example, we received NUMBER 388-137 DATE 880906 CATEGORY GI00 TYPE Marketing TITLE REVISED EXHIBIT-ALTERNATIVE CERTIFICATION FOR IBM MACHINES ABSTRACT IBM is announcing a revised Exhibit to the Alternative Certification for IBM Machines. Under this revised Exhibit, the IBM 4687 Point-of-Sale Scanner is added to the list of machines which are not Eligible Machines under the Alternative Certification for IBM Machines. The revised Exhibit is effective immediately. OVERVIEW The summary above is the entire text of this announcement.
