IP-based network offerings provider Sonus Networks has appointed Raymond Dolan as the new president,CEO and also in the company’s board of directors.
Most recently, Dolan served as CEO of Qualcomm/Flarion Technologies, as well as SVP of Qualcomm.
Prior to its acquisition by Qualcomm, he served as chairman and CEO of Flarion.
Prior to his role at Flarion Technologies, from 1996 to 2000, Dolan was COO of NextWave Telecom, and before that he spent eight years at BellAtlantic/NYNEX Mobile, serving in numerous roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as executive vice president of marketing.
Sonus board of directors chairman Howard Janzen said, in Ray, the company has chosen a person who embodies the characteristics essential for its next phase of growth and development.
