Apart from cutting costs, the investment also gives the group the ability to provide even more effective service to its customers, said ReadSoft. The order, placed at the end of December 2008, is worth approximately $500,000 for ReadSoft.
Classify and Index make it possible to automatically separate, classify, capture and index information from incoming documents, and then send this information to an electronic workflow and/or archive. Plans are in the works for possible future development where the DnB Nor solution would grow to cover the bank’s needs for handling incoming post, faxes and e-mail. ReadSoft is starting implementation immediately and counts on the system being in operation by the first half of 2009.
