Digital Defense, a provider of information security governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) offerings, has unveiled new Remediation Manager-Pro (RM-Pro) security offering, which is designed to help organisations rectify security vulnerabilities on their computing platforms.
Through the new RM-Pro offering, Digital Defense can identify what clients need to do with vulnerabilities discovered, and provide an action plan whereby DDI Security Analysts will securely remediate discovered vulnerabilities on behalf of the client.
According to Digital Defence, the new RM-Pro security offering features robust, detailed project plans; pre- and post-remediation analysis report; online remediation tracking and audit notes; and security GPA trend reporting.
Digital Defense chief executive officer Larry Hurtado said the company developed the RM-Pro service because they understand the pressure clients are under to do more with fewer resources in the current economic climate.
"With RM-Pro we are providing organisations with an affordable, frequently-requested service that reduces the risk of unauthorised persons compromising the integrity of our clients’ business operation," Hurtado said.
"We are offering RM-Pro for both current DDI Vulnerability Scanning clients as well as for new clients. For new clients we include a full network Automated Vulnerability Scan to identify the vulnerabilities as a first step."
