A beneficiary of Singapore-based Creative Technology Ltd’s acquisition of Digicom Systems Inc (CI No 2,509) will be Psion Plc: Psion inherited a minority stake in Digicom when it purchased Dacom Systems for UKP220,000 way back in 1988 – Psion’s stake will be bought out for $1.43m, a UKP690,000 book profit.
