NETEDGE ADDS DYNAMIC ROUTING FOR INTERNET PROTOCOL

By CBR Staff Writer

NetEdge Systems Inc has added dynamic IP Internet Protocol routing to enable secure virtual private network set ups using the company’s Edge multiservice access concentrator product. Using the software enables multiple Asynchronous Transfer Mode- based services to be offered to multiple customers over an Edge concentrator, which creates a secure closed user group for each customer, with separate resources such as routing tables, management and security features, says NetEdge. The new software enables dynamic routing for each closed user group, requiring less configuration for large networks and a greater ability for services to adapt to changes in the network. The new release of software will be available in July, the company says.
