MOTOROLA SHIPS 300-MHZ PROCESSORS

Motorola Inc’s RISC Microprocessor Division announced Friday that it is shipping the first 300-Mhz volume desktop and protable microprocessor. The Motorola Power PC 603e is available at 300, 275 and 250-Mhz and will be introduced in Apple’s new Power Macintosh 6500 series.
