By CBR Staff Writer

And Misco, a venture bringing together no fewer than 80 companies in the giant Mitsui trading company group – it stands for Mitsui Information Systems Co-operation Organisation – planning development with four other companies, of expert systems for personnel evaluation and communication systems fault diagnosis, has devised a new systems development organisation: 36 Mitsui group companies, including Mitsui Bank, Mitsui Estate, Mitsui Construction, Taisho Fire and Marine, will form four groups, each headed by one of the four outside partners – Toshiba, Fuji Xerox, Nippon Univac, and Nippon Business Automation and will develop the systems in competitive conveyor belt mode; the two applications were chosen for their widespread utility.
