HITACHI LAUNCHES WINDOWS CE-BASED HANDHELD

Hitachi Ltd’s Hitachi Home Electronics (America) Inc launched its Windows CE-based handheld computer at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week. It uses the company’s 32-bit SuperH RISC architecture-based SH-3 microprocessor and features compact and easy-to-type keyboard, with easy operation and functionality with Windows-based applications software and remote communications capabilities, but no other details were given.
