Networking firm Cisco has unveiled new wireless access points, routers, switches, unified communications and partner-managed service offerings which will help small businesses boost their productivity.

These new products will help small businesses remain connected with secure, reliable network through smartphones, tablets, and cloud applications and services.

The new networking and communication applications suite will provide Cisco resellers with a complete portfolio of products and applications to create the right networks for their customers.

The new expanded small business product portfolio includes Cisco WAP121 and WAP321 which come with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support to optimise the Wi-Fi coverage area.

The company has also added RV180 and RV180W Wireless-N to its line of routers, Cisco 500 series stackable managed switches, UC320 unified communications system, SPA512G and SPA514G phones, SPA112 and SPA122 Telephone adapters and WBPN Wireless-N Bridge.

The routers will come with a browser-based configuration as well as Gigabit Ethernet WAN and 4-port Gigabit Ethernet supporting upto 10 concurrent VPN connections while RV180W Wireless-N router can be deployed as a router, wireless access point, bridge or repeater.

The Cisco OnPlus Service, a managed services applications for partners, has also been expanded with new advanced wireless management tools and capabilities. It now enables outsourced IT services for demanding wireless environments.

The OnPlus ON100 appliance automatically discovers all devices connected to the network and provides remote management of Cisco and Cisco Small Business applications while the OnPlus wireless managed services add-on provides solution providers with extensive reporting on wireless devices and traffic.
