Chipcom Corp of Southborough, Massachusetts has signed an agreement with NetLabs Inc, of Los Altos, California, in which Chipcom will use the NetLabs/Vision application development environment to build a suite of graphical network management applications for its various bridge and switching hub products; the initial application will be for Chipcom’s ONline Ethernet Interconnect module: the software will be out from the second quarter of 1994 but no terms were disclosed; the two companies also plan to work together to support Vision-based, enterprise management applications, specifically NetLabs/AssetManager.
