CDMA CELLULAR SYSTEM FOR SEATTLE AREA

Englewood, Colorado-based US West Inc’s US West NewVector Group has an agreement with Motorola Nortel Communications Inc for a Code Division Multiple Access cellular system to be installed in the Seattle area starting in late 1993: it is claimed to be the first commercial CDMA cellular system sale anywhere.
