BRODERBUND SOFTWARE TO PAY $1.5m FOR PC GLOBE INC

Novato, California-based Broderbund Software Inc has agreement to buy PC Globe Inc, publishers of electronic atlas programs for just $1.5m although the company had 1991 sales of $7.7m. The flagship product of Tempe, Arizona-based PC Globe is the eponymous electronic atlas that provides maps and data on more than 200 countries; it has 40 employees.
