Social gaming company Zynga has launched the 3-D version of its city-building game, CityVille 2 on Facebook, which will be introduced globally in 15 languages.

CityVille 2 will enable players take on the role of a mayor to build a virtual city by guiding to create businesses, museums, homes, roads, parks and other aspects of urban life.

In addition, the new version will introduce a new online chat feature that allows online friends to help build one another’s’ cities, communicating in real time.

CityVille 2 game also challenges players to find out the reason for an explosion at the city’s mayoral estate and take the role of the mayor of the city to bring back the city to life by adding businesses, museums, homes, roads, parks and other urban necesities.

The new version will be available for free and will be introduced soon through the Zynga.com online.

CityVille 2 design director Mark Nelson was quouted by AFP saying: "CityVille 2 immerses players in a storyline peppered with quirky and interesting characters, while also delivering a beautiful 3-D town where players can compete with or play with friends as they build their unique city."
