Zycad Corp, St Paul, Minnesota, is taking $12m in charges with its fourth quarter figures, for unexpectedly high costs associated with its acquisition of Silicon Solutions Corp, which will lead to it reporting a loss for the year; for all of 1985 the company reported $2.2m net on turnover of $26.8m.
