ZIP DRIVE OPENS UP NEW WORLD FOR IOMEGA

Iomega Corp sees a whole new future ahead of it with the launch last week of its new low-cost Zip drive and Zip exchangeable disk cartridge: the drive is claimed to offer near hard disk performance and costs $200, and reads and writes 100Mb cartridges costing $20 and 25Mb cartridges costing $10 each; the Zip drive arrives in February.
