Ziff-Davis Expositions and Conference Co has announced the Virtual Trade Show Architecture, the foundation for the first on-line, interactive, real-time trade show for the networking marketplace. The first implementation of this new architecture was N+I Online!, which provided access to and events at the NetWorld+InterOp trade show. Accessible via the Internet’s World-Wide Web, it enabled attendees to plan, update and review NetWorld+Interop exhibitions and activities. Attendees were able to retrieve information from Vendor Information Servers through various logical views such as technology classification, product classifications or by theme. The first implementation of N+I Online! via World-Wide Web will be in March 1995, immediately before, during and after the NetWorld+InterOp 95 event in Las Vegas. N+I Online! will feature content similar to that at the physical trade show, including exhibitor booths and special sessions, and other programme features will follow.
