Organizations such as Xerox, Banco Santander, Schering-Plough and the US government are said to have used the DynamicPolicy service to help enforce compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, and their own internal corporate policies.
The system is designed to automate the creation, distribution, review and approval processes for new or existing enterprise policies.
The benefit of it being web based is that it can be hosted from a single central server database, so that only a one copy of the most up-to-date version of each policy is available across an organization.
Designed to aid workflow and intended to make for more effective governance, Zequel also provides a library of sample policies that comply with the needs of legislation such as Sarbanes-Oxley and ISO 17799. The vendor has opened a UK office to spearhead it push into Europe.
