Mountain View, California-based Proxim Inc has won a co-development agreement with Zenith Data Systems, under which the two will develop a family of mobile computers with wireless network access based on Proxim’s RangeLAN technology. The news follows Fujitsu’s Ltd’s announcement that it has launched a mobile computer with integrated wireless access based on RangeLAN. There’s no word yet on specific product plans, or when the work will be completed.
