ZENITH TO BE FIRST WITH IBM PS/2 CLONES?

By CBR Staff Writer

Zenith Data Systems could beat Tandy to the punch to become the first major player with a PS/2-compatible: Newsbytes reckons that the company’s April 5 press conference will include clones of the Models 50 and 60 as well as an 80286 lap-top, reportedly with a licensed Microchannel; the lap-top, with a 10MHz 80286, is said to look like the Z-181, and have 3.5 floppy, 20Mb hard disk and a backlit bluish LCD screen, and have one half slot.
