ZENITH AIM FOR PROFIT BY 1995

The Zenith Data Systems microcomputer unit of Compagnie des Machines Bull SA, aims to make a net profit in 1995 after at least breaking even this year at the operating level, Zenith chief executive Jacques Noels told the Financial Times: he looks for sales to rise about 30% to $1,300m this year – in the first quarter its turnover grew 73% over the same period of 1993; Noels said that cost cutting, including a 200 reduction in the workforce to 1,500 by the end of the year would help.
