Zebra Technologies introduces new kiosk enclosure

Users to choose from an array of media options depending on their needs

By CBR Staff Writer

Zebra Technologies Europe, a provider of specialty printing and automatic identification offerings, has rolled out Kiosk Print Station, a new enclosure that can house a TTP 2000 series kiosk printer and a roll of media, and has a mounting for a touch-screen kiosk computer.

Zebra Technologies said that the new enclosure can be mounted on a wall or pole, freeing up floor and counter space. Retailers can choose from an array of media options depending on their needs, including four different receipt label widths.

According to the company, the IBM AnyPlace or Motorola MK series, which are self-service devices, could be fixed to the new enclosure.

The new enclosure combined with the TTP 2000 printer unit supports an array of applications found in custom kiosk offerings such as: Extended Aisle that enables customers to browse and order products not on display such as electrical and white goods; and Quick Serve Deli that allows customers to place and pick their deli order when they have completed their work.
