YouTube and Coca-Cola introduce Xmas video greeting cards

YouTube and Coca-Cola have launched the Holiday WishCast, allowing people to create and share video greetings via their websites.

By CBR Staff Writer

Visitors can uploading their own videos, customize video greetings created by popular YouTube personalities, or share holiday-themed videos from Coca-Cola including clips from vintage Coke advertisements. Select video greetings that users have chosen to share with the world will be featured as part of a video playlist on Coca-Cola.com, called the Holiday WishCast.

The Coca-Cola Holiday WishCast gives friends and families a new way to communicate this holiday season, said Tim Kopp, vice president of global interactive marketing, The Coca-Cola Company.

It is the latest evolution in the development of Coca-Cola.com following the re-launch of the site in July 2006 that included user-generated content and the addition of digital music downloads in August. Partnering with YouTube helps us bring creative content to a broader community.
