Yokogawa Electronics has won an order from Illinois-based agricultural machinery maker Deere & Co – celebrated, in country music circles at least, for the John Deere tractor – to supply its 68020-based factory automation computer: the machine runs six programs concurrently and has communications for IBM and Fujitsu host computers; the value and number of machines involved was not given.
