By CBR Staff Writer

Jinan Yinquan Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of China VoIP & Digital Telecom (CVDT), has signed an agreement with IBM to establish a centre for new product exploration.

Yinquan said that the new facility will develop cloud computing application testing, and provide training and technical support to local governments, enterprises, universities, and research institutions.

The new centre is expected to improve work efficiency, shorten technology development time and provide customers with high quality offerings.

CVDT chairman and CEO Li Kunwu said that the new product exploration centre allows the company to enhance its product offerings and strengthen its commitment to above-and-beyond customer service.

"Our partnership with IBM will also promote cloud computing in the marketplace, while creating a new value-added business opportunity for the company," Kunwu said.

In addition, Yinquan will also become an IBM Gold Distributor, which will provide it with a favorable purchase price, effectively reducing its procurement costs and increasing product options for virtualisation offeriongs.
