Sunnyvale, California-based Yahoo! Corp has unveiled Yahooligans!, a new guided service on the World Wide Web designed specifically for children and offering a more youth-oriented version of the existing Yahoo! site, one of the most popular Web locations. The guide will lead users to child-appropriate content in eight categories including entertainment, sports, homework tips, arts and crafts, science, news and world cultures. It is free and requires no user registration. Yahoo!’s partner is Ingenius, a joint venture of Tele-Communications Inc and Reuters Holdings Plc’s New Media unit which specializes in online entertainment and educational products for eight to 14-year-olds. Another Yahooligans! site contributor is News Corp Ltd’s Random House Inc, which will publish an interactive Internet thriller series, The Lurker Files. All at https://www
