The company said the software is a Java-based client with a drag-and-drop user interface for creating and editing pages. Offline design is also enabled for the first time. Users can access 200 page templates if they choose.

Yahoo said the service will be integrated with and free to users of its Yahoo Web Hosting offerings. The company offers three levels of service with differing levels of storage and bandwidth, with prices ranging from $11.95 to $39.95 per month.
