XYVISION ACQUIRES CONTEX GRAPHICS SYSTEMS

Xyvision Inc of Wakefield, Massachuessets has acquired workstation manufacturer Contex Graphics Systems Inc located in Billerica, Massachusetts: the company’s chief product is the Contex Design System, a workstation for full colour print design targeted at the consumer products packaging market; an Xyvision spokesman said he expected the combined technologies to meet the requirements for high-volume, full-colour text and graphics.
